Hi DrAlex,

Thanks so much for the examples. I also wasn't able to find covers for these ISBNs, unfortunately. For these books, as well as for the older editions with no ISBN, the only option is to add a cover manually, for example from an image file.

Best regards,

Jenny

Hi, it's me again.

It have passed 2 years and now the 5th version of Citavi, but none of this sheet are not implemented, even simple things:
DrAlex wrote:Hi! It's a New list, if you do not mind:

9. When adding categories to the quotes: by holding down CTRL, the cursor moves only highlighted categories (that to meet the characters entered);
////
11. In “tasks&location”, on the right click over file – “location” – add command “open”.
Thank you :)

I have two small wishes,But I am afraid I disturb you...
1. (small) display icons in accordance with the icon of the site;
2. (big): synchronization between the portable and descktop versions.

Hi DrAlex,

Thanks very much for your feedback and additional requests! I can understand that it's frustrating that your previous requests haven't been implemented yet. At the moment our developers are focused on a couple very large development priorities. As a result, we just don't have enough capacity to implement "nice-to-have" improvements. Hopefully we'll be able to add such features in the future, but realistically it still could take a while before this is the case. Your requests are still on our wishlist, though!

As far as your new requests are concerned, I've added the first one to our wishlist as well, although at the moment the icon for the default web browser is displayed here, and I'm not sure if that's something our development team will want to change, since users are probably used to the current behavior.

Although we won't be implementing synchronization of Citavi projects in the desktop version, it will be possible to access a project from anywhere using the upcoming web version. This should solve the problem of multiple versions that can occur when you are working on different computers. This year we will launch the beta testing phase for Citavi Web, as long as there are no unforeseen delays. If you are interested in participating in the beta test, you can register for our newsletter at http://www.citavi.com/startwebbeta

Thanks again for all of your suggestions -- we are grateful for them, even if we aren't able to act on them right away!

Best regards,
Jennifer

Dear Citavi Team,

Can you publish your wishlist so everybody can see the future possibilities and maybe even comment each one - I would expect emerging effect of user participation (and avoiding implementing something not well developed)? (I guess you made it in Swiss-german and it's too long for translating it) ;)

Regards,
Piotr Smolnicki

Dear Piotr,

Thanks for your question! We understand that many users would like a better idea of upcoming features, but we currently don't have plans to publish the wish list. There are several reasons for this, but the main one is that we want to be able to decide on our development path within our team and wouldn't want to give our users the false impression that the most-discussed features are the ones that will be developed.

This does not mean, however, that we don't value our user feedback. On the contrary! We carefully look at each user suggestion when planning new versions, and we are incredibly grateful for all of the great ideas the Citavi community shares with us.

Best regards,
Jennifer
