Pandoc export

Postby pharaoh » 2015-05-03 13:31

Dear Citavi team,
some academics are now employing Pandoc as intermediate tool between simple text and the final submission in Microsoft Word. Or they might use simple text and Pandoc for formatting to HTML and others.
While a real word processor for Pandoc or MultiMarkdown does not exist, a copy and paste in the citation format in use in Pandoc, something like [@Leahy.1984] would be quite useful for those scholars.
I suggest an implementation of it, especially as I do not see it as very time consuming to implement. It would be nothing more than slightly different from bibtex export for instance.

Hello Roberto,

Why don't you use the placeholders? You can send them to the clipboard in Citavi and insert them in Pandoc. You can then tell Citavi to format the document (has to be saved as RTF, first) or transform the placeholders into fields once you have your text in Word.

Best regards
Patrick
