Editing ABNT style: case of in-text citation+comma separator

System information: [ Citavi Version 5.2, Windows 10, English, -, -, - ]

The ABNT style provided by Citavi has the in-text citation format:
(BROWN, TREFIL, CARINGELLA, 2007, p. 11–13)

a) The ABNT recommendation adopted in the university utilizes semicolon instead of comma to separate multiple authors: (BROWN; TREFIL; CARINGELLA; 2007, p. 11–13)

b) Also, the authors in-text citation can be with last-name capitalized: (Brown; Trefil; Caringella; 2007, p. 11–13).

How to proceed with this two adjusts in Citavi ABNT base style. I realize Citavi provides a form to request styles, but I would appreciate to know technical information on how I myself can proceed with small tweaks in the style, in order to fit my current and even future adjustments needs.

Thank you,

Hi Carlos,

thanks for your question. You can change that with the citation style editor.

You have to edit the component "Author, editor or organization [Last name, CAP]":

a) Change the content of the fields "Text between persons" and "Text before last person".

b) In the same menu, click on the dropdown menu "All caps". There, you can change that last names should not be capitalized anymore.

See also this screenshot.

Kind regards,
