Thank you for your interest in Citavi.

In Beta 3.0.5, the following bugs have been resolved:
  • Sequence numbers from EndNote and Bibliographix were not retained when importing.
  • The editor windows for assigning categories and applying keywords to a quotation sometimes did not save changes.

This update includes all the improvements in Citavi 3.0.4 and Citavi 3.0.3.

Important
This is a beta of an upcoming update for Citavi. It contains bug fixes as well as new features. New features can introduce new bugs of their own, so please post a reply if you find one.

This version is no longer available.

Greetings Antonio

In Publication Assistant, where particular text in a previewed Knowledge Item is selected, a right click Copy copies the selected text to the clipboard, while a Ctrl-C copies the selected items in their entirety. Ctrl-C still appears on the right click prompt with Copy. I'd suggest the two Copy actions should therefore work identically, copying text the user has selected, if any, but entire items otherwise.

Also, earlier versions of Publication Assistant would sort Knowledge Items alphabetically within categories. Apparently this was not intended, as it has been corrected in Beta, but it was actually quite a useful capability. First, the user could easily identify duplicated Core statements within a category. Second, this provided a means of alphabetizing a category's items in the main program: by assigning a second category to a group of items within the Publication Assistant, a sequence which Citavi would perform alphabetically.

One way or another, it would be helpful to be able to sort Knowledge Items by core statement within a category, temporarily or permanently.

Thank you for considering
Jerome
