Small inconsistency in operation - Citavi 4 Beta

System information: [ -, Windows 8, English, -, -, - ]

I have noticed something a little strange in the use of the publication assistant. I use Citavi in conjunction with Scrivener. I have "Placeholder only" selected as this best suits my purposes and use copy and paste to put placeholders in my text. This works just fine.

Sometimes, however, I want to copy in the content of a knowledge item. I can do this by selecting the desired text in the preview panel of the publication assistant, right-clicking, selecting copy in the context menu and then pasting into my document.

However, I cannot do the same operation by selecting the desired text and using CTRL-C, even though this very shortcut appears in the right-click menu mentioned above. Using CTRL-C will only copy the placeholder.

This seems like a strange operational inconsistency and I wonder if it might be able to be rectified in a future version?

Hello aanon,

thank you for bringing this to our attention.
It is indeed strange that apparently the same command does different things.

I have passed the issue on to our developers.

Best regards
Patrick
