Image quotation from clipboard?

Postby aanon » 2012-11-26 03:28

System information: [ Citavi Version 3.3, Windows 8, English, Other browser, MS Office 2010 32Bit, Acrobat 9 ]

Hi, I'm wondering whether it is possible to create an image quotation by pasting from the clipboard? I notice that this is already possible for cover art, which is an excellent idea. If this is not available, may I please add this to a "wish list"?

This would be a very convenient feature for taking a screen capture of part of an electronic document (for example a table or graph in a PDF) for later use in a research paper.

Thank you for excellent software on very reasonable terms.

Thanks for your question! While there's no way to directly copy an image quotation to Citavi using the Clipboard, you can use the Picker to add image quotations from a website:

The Picker for Adobe can do this as well, but it can't always tell that the graph or image is an object and not text. When this happens, you can use a screen shot tool as a workaround to copy the image.

Please just let us know if you have additional questions!
