System information: [ Citavi Version 3.2, Windows 7, English, -, -, - ]

The third question I have is that under Citavi 3.20, using APA 6th, citations appear with "#number". This number frequently, but not always, refers to the order the citation is listed in Citavi, but have no bearing to how the references are listed, or in what order, in the paper I write. What is an easy way to turn this off?

Hello ariels,

The number you are seeing is what's known as a sequence number. When you format your document, it tells Citavi which reference belongs to that particular placeholder. During formatting, the properly formatted citation is inserted in place of this placeholder.
