Hi,

Is it possible to export a citation to excel instead of word?

Thanks very much,

Hi Sari,

You could copy a formatted citation to the Clipboard (Edit > Copy formatted reference (Ctrl+Shift+C)) and paste it in, though I am not sure Excel will preserve all the formatting.

If what you need is the data in a spreadsheet, with columns for each field, use Table view, which lets you export to Excel. (Click Table on the toolbar.) See http://manual.citavi.com/en/?exporting_ ... dsheet.htm

Thanks, Antonio Tejada. That was a helpful answer.

Because I am constructing a dataset based on secondary sources (there is an entire column called "source"), It would be ideal to be able to cite in (Author year) format in each row and then run Citavi to compile the entire bibliography at the end. Copying it through clipboard is helpful but occupies too much space in a cell and repeats information throughout the column.

Thanks!
