Postby DrAlex » 2013-05-30 18:34

1. How to make "rule set" common for all types? I must to select "inherit" for each type manually.
2. Why in "book" type the field "editor" is absent? How to make it present?

Hello DrAlex,

Thanks for your questions!

1. Yes, you need to select Inherit from for each type manually. There's unfortunately no way to do this for all references at once.
2. There is no Editor field for normal books. If you need to enter an editor you should choose either the reference type Edited Book or Collected Work. The Collected Work reference type allows you to enter both an editor and an author.

Please just let us know if you have additional questions!

Best regards,
Jennifer

Hello Jennifer.

1.
There's unfortunately no way to do this for all references at once.

This can be enabled in the future in the wishlist? :)

2. A bit strange, because All books have the editor.

Edited Book is not suitable, because this excluded the author's name, Collected Work - suitable, but also has another purpose.

Thank you for your answers and help.
