How to Create [AUTH00] style?

Postby a6l3i » 2011-02-11 00:03

System information: [ Citavi Version 3.0.1, Windows 7, English, Firefox 3.x, MS Office 2010 32Bit, Acrobat 9 ]

Hi all,
I need this German citation style : [AUTH00]
which means: [ four-first letters of author last name + two-digits of year]

Example book:
[THOM96] Thome, R.; Hufgard, A.: Continuous System Engineering. Vogel, Würzburg 1996.

How can i do it?
Thanks in Advance,

That looks really, really close to the LNI style, which Citavi has in German and English.

To add the style, click Citation > Browse citation styles, then click Find and add style and for the Citation system, select In-text citation: citation key. Select the version you want, and add it.

You also need to configure the citation key to match how you want it. LNI normally calls for this format: [Mü99] (for Müller, 1999), but you can set it however you want. To configure the citation key template, on the Tools menu, click Options. On the General tab, select the Citation key support checkbox, then click Configure.
