DOI field - on / off switch in citation style

Good morning,
I was wondering if there is an easy option to turn ON / OFF the use of DOI field in APA6ed citation style (or any other)?

I ve been working on a 100+ entries bibliography and since some of them had DOI appended and some of them didn't (and I couldn't find them) I ended up removing this field manually from each source so that they are presented in the same way.
I didn't want to remove DOI from the actual field in citavi - this might come handy some time - but with this project i have to review my bibliography (and delete all doi's) each time a change is made and word decides to update whole reference section.

Thank you

Hello b1azk0,

Thanks for your question! You can easily remove the DOI field from a citation style by creating a copy of the citation style you are using and then deleting the DOI component from it. This video shows how.

Please note that the video does not have any sound.

Please just let us know if you have any additional questions!

Best regards,
Jennifer
