APA proplem with letters after year

Hi everyone,

I am using APA version 6.0 as the citation style.
I have the following problem (in-text and bibliography):
Using several papers from the same author results in Citavi adding a letter after the year of publication even though those years are different. As an example:

Barney, J. B. (1991a). Firm resources and sustained competitive advantage. Journal of Management, 17(1), 99–120.
Barney, J. B. (1995b). Looking inside for competitive advantage. Academy of Management Perspectives, 9(4), 49–61.

As you can see, Citavi adds an "a" after 1991 and a "b" after 1995 which is wrong in my eyes, at least I do not want to have it that way. Do you know how to change that?

Thanks a lot in advance and
kind regards

Hello Cunner,

What version of Citavi are you using? You find the full number in Help > About.

Best regards
Patrick

Hello Cunner,

Are you using "APA 6th ed. [Citavi 4.3 or above]"?

Best regards
Patrick

Sorry, I used the other APA style...
... and now the problem disappeared.

Thanks a lot.
